Dr Agnieszka Medyńska – Juraszek is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Soil Sciences and Environmental Protection at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
Her research interests are biochar as soil amendment (influence on soil properties and productivity, potential use for soil remediation and protection), biochar use in horticulture and soilless plant production, soil organic matter – heavy metal and pesticides interactions, influence of heavy metals and organic pollutants on soil microorganisms.
Manager and contractor of several scientific projects, also with co-operation with industry. Scholar of EU grants for PhD. students and Young Scientists. Awarded by conference organizing committee with scholarships for attending international conferences in Taiwan, Tenerife and Romania. Author and co-author of more than 30 publications and short communicates. Member of Polish Society of Soil Sciences, Polish Humic Substances Society and International Society for Environmental Biogeochemistry.
Dr Agnieszka Medyńska-Juraszek was participating in internships in Department of Renewable Resources, College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, University of Wyoming, USA and Bioforsk – Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research in Ås, Norway.
