Agnieszka Sobczak-Kupiec

The scientific research activity conducted by me is of interdisciplinary character and oscillates between engineering, chemical technology and nanotechnology, which becomes part of the scientific science and technology, as well as innovative policy goals of the country very well. I am a winner of a number of international and national awards, among others Elsevier Award 2012, 1st and 3rd Awards awarded by Scientific Committee of Conference “Dental Engineering – Biomaterials”.

I am a prize winner of “Young Scientist – creator of economic reality”, Top 500 Innovators Science – Management – Commercialization. I also take part as an expert in the applications evaluation process in Malopolskie Centre of Entrepreneurship in Cracow in the Boards for Industry, Environment, Health and Food.

I have completed a lot of courses, trainings and postgraduate courses in research results commercialization, among others: „Research project management and commercialization of research results”, “Competence for the cooperation of science and business”. I am a co-ordinator, manager, a member of the Cluster Board and thus I establish and make the cooperation between science and business closer.

Over 70 works published in the Polish and foreign scientific magazines and part-work publications, over 30 works published in the journals found in the Journal Citation Reports are the results of my current research activity. I have taken an active part in national and international conferences.

I have a lot of research projects, among others “A method development of obtaining calcium phosphate of hydroxyapatite (HA) structure with silver”. In my work concentrate on connecting a scientific results with prospective branches of economy.

At present, I am continuing and developing the scientific and research subject matter, which I have undertaken in my PhD thesis on ceramic biomaterials.
